Verify Your Identity in Solution Provider Portal

Learn how to verify your identity in Solution Provider Portal.

All Solution Provider Portal users, including developers, service providers, and invited employees, must verify their identity regardless of their role or access level within the organization. This guide shows you how to complete the identity verification process in Solution Provider Portal.

Before you begin

To verify your identity, Amazon requires at least two documents: an identity document and a proof of address document. Before you start the identity verification process, make sure that your documents meet the following requirements.

⚠️

Important

If your identity document doesn't match your country of residence, make sure that your proof of address matches your country of residence.

Identity document

During the identity verification process in Solution Provider Portal, the available identity document options for your country are shown in a menu. Amazon accepts identity documents such as a passport, national identity card, or driver's license.

Your identity document must:

  • Be a government-issued photo identity document that is recognized and issued by the country where you are a citizen or resident.
  • Show your first and last name.
  • Include your date of birth.
  • Show the unique ID number.
  • Have an expiration date (if applicable). If your document doesn't have an expiration date, you can enter a date of three months from the date of registration.
  • Have your signature (if applicable).
  • Include all required information from both sides of the ID (such as signature, expiration date, date of birth, or barcodes, if these appear on the back).
  • Be scanned or photographed in color.

Proof of address document

For the proof of address document, Amazon accepts current bank statements (for example, a checking/savings account or a loan account statement), credit card statements, or account statements provided by an e-commerce payment service provider such as Payoneer, Hyper wallet, World First, and Alipay.

Your proof of address document must:

  • Be issued within the last 180 days and show the issuing date, due date, or transaction dates.
  • Include financial institution details that show at least one of the following details: bank name, bank stamp, bank signature, or bank logo.
  • Show the name and address of the account holder.
