List Transactions Associated with an Order
Learn how to determine which transactions are associated with an order.
Learn how to retrieve the complete transaction history for an order using an order ID. You do not need to know the exact dates when the transactions occured.
This is useful for locating events that happened after the original order date, such as refunds, chargebacks, or order adjustments, which can occur days, weeks, or even months later.
Prerequisites
To complete this tutorial, you must have:
- Authorization from the selling partner for whom you are making calls. Refer to the Authorizing Selling Partner API applications for more information.
- Approval for the Finance and Accounting role in your developer profile.
- The Finance and Accounting role selected in the App registration page for your application.
Step 1. Retrieve a list of transactions associated with an order
Call the listTransactions operation with the following parameters:
relatedIdentifierName=ORDER_IDrelatedIdentifierValue= the order ID
The response includes up to 500 transactions associated with the specified order. If the response includes a nextToken, use it to request additional pages of transactions.
