Use Cases
Key tasks that you can perform using the Catalog Items API include:

- Search by identifiers or keywords.
Note
Vendors can retrieve additional vendor-specific details.
The following use case examples are available for the Catalog Items API:
- Retrieve catalog item details: Retrieve information about an item in the Amazon catalog for the given ASIN and marketplaces
- Search catalog items: Search for and return a list of Amazon catalog items and associated information for the given ASIN, product identifier, or keyword.
