Step 8: List Your Service in the Service Provider Network

Create a listing in the Service Provider Network so that Amazon sellers can discover your services.

The final step in the service provider onboarding process is to create a professional listing in the Service Provider Network. The Service Provider Network is where Amazon sellers can discover and request your services.

As a service provider, you use Solution Provider Portal to create and manage service listings that appear on the Service Provider Network.

The process to list your service depends on your service category:

  • Self-service listing: If your service falls under Account Management, Advertising Optimization, or Compliance, you can create and manage your listing directly through Solution Provider Portal. For instructions, refer to Create a self-service listing.
  • Guided listing: If your service is in any other category, an Amazon representative will help you complete the listing process. For instructions, refer to Create a guided listing.

For listing best practices and troubleshooting, refer to Best practices for listings.

Before you begin

Before you create your first listing, you must complete Step 1 through Step 5 in the service provider onboarding process, which includes obtaining Amazon's approval for one or more Seller Central roles.

Create a self-service listing

The self-service listing feature enables you to create, update, and manage your service listing independently through Solution Provider Portal. Self-service listing is currently only available for Account Management, Advertising Optimization, and Compliance services.

After you receive approval for one or more Seller Central roles in Step 5: Apply for Seller Central Roles, you can create and publish your service listing.

To list your service, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Solution Provider Portal.

  2. Next to your service name, choose Create Listing.

  3. Enter your service name and category.

  4. Enter your contact details and business information.

  5. Add the following service details:
    Description: Your unique value proposition.
Capabilities: Specific features that your service provides and what differentiates your offerings.
Language: Clear, professional language without marketing terms.

  6. Upload your media content that meets the following requirements:
Number: Between one and three banner images that showcase your service.
Quality: High-quality images with minimal text.
    Width: 1000-2000 pixels.
    Height: 300-500 pixels.
Aspect ratio: Between 10:3 and 4:1.
    Format: JPEG or PNG.

  7. Review all information for accuracy.

  8. Submit your listing for Amazon's approval process.

Most listings receive review within 5-7 business days. If Amazon rejects your listing, you receive detailed feedback explaining required changes. You can revise and resubmit your listing after you address the feedback.

  9. Track your self-service listing status in the Manage Listings section of Solution Provider Portal, where your self-service listing displays one of four status indicators:

    Draft: Listing creation in progress.
Under Review: Amazon verification in progress.
Published: Active and visible on Service Provider Network.
    Rejected: Requires revision and resubmission.

  10. After you publish your self-service listing, you modify your listing at any time through the Edit Listing button. Amazon reviews the changes and typically publishes updates within 24 hours.

Create a guided listing

For services outside the Account Management, Advertising Optimization, and Compliance categories, Amazon provides guided listing support through a dedicated representative. After you receive approval for one or more Seller Central roles in Step 5: Apply for Seller Central Roles, you can request listing assistance.

To request a guided listing, complete the following steps:

  1. Wait for Amazon to contact you:
    • After Amazon approves your service provider profile, an Amazon representative will contact you through a support case to initiate the listing process.

  2. Provide the required information:
    • Details about your company and services.
    • Your company logo and banner images.
    • Your completed service provider questionnaire.
    • Your specialties, value-added services, and additional information for sellers to discover your services.

  3. Collaborate with your Amazon representative
    • Work with your assigned Amazon representative to refine your listing content.
    • Provide any additional information or materials as requested.
    • Review and approve the final listing before publication.
