Amazon Prime Wardrobe
Learn how to use Amazon's VAT Calculation Service with Amazon Prime Wardrobe
Amazon Prime Wardrobe is an Amazon Prime-exclusive program where customers can add up to six items from women's, men's, children's, and baby clothing, shoes, and accessories to their Amazon Prime Wardrobe cart without being charged at the time when the shipment is dispatched. Customers get seven days to try on the items at home, and will only be charged for the items they decide to keep at the end of this seven day period. This means that the invoice is due after the seven day trial period and not after shipment, since the customers are not charged at the time of shipment. Sellers can view these transactions in the VIDR after the trial period ends (seven day after shipment) when the customer is charged, and will need to upload invoices within one business day thereafter. Amazon Prime Wardrobe orders are not placed by B2B customers, therefore these orders do not affect the Invoice Defect Rate calculation.
While uploading an invoice for an Amazon Prime Wardrobe order, the transaction ID is required for both shipments and reversals. An invoice upload without the transaction ID for a shipment will be rejected. This is different from regular shipments, for which an invoice can be provided without a transaction ID. A credit note upload without the transaction ID for a reversal will also be rejected. This is similar to regular reversals, for which the transaction ID is also required.
