Deprecation Reminders - November 6, 2024

Deprecated SP-API resources are no longer in active development. Calls to deprecated SP-API resources will continue to be successful until their removal date. After the removal date, calls will fail. For more detailed information about SP-API deprecation dates, refer to the Deprecations table.

Update: Throttling Changes for the Merchant Fulfillment API

The getEligibleShippingServices and createShipment operations in the Merchant Fulfillment API v0 have increased throttling rates to help reduce request throttling:

Update: Product Pricing API v2022-05-01 Expands Support for getFeaturedOfferExpectedPriceBatch Operation

The getFeaturedOfferExpectedPriceBatch operation now supports the JP marketplace. You can now retrieve the Featured Offer Expected Price (FOEP) for all marketplaces worldwide. The FOEP is the listing price at or below which a seller can expect to have the featured offer (before applicable promotions).

Update: Finances API v0 now includes TransactionNumber

The AdjustmentItem object in the Finances API v0 now includes TransactionNumber. You can use this parameter to identify what the adjustment is related to. For example, Amazon Shipping customers can use TransactionNumber to get an invoice number, which they can map to an Amazon Shipping invoice.

New: Code Samples for the Listings Sample Solution Application

We are excited to share eight new code samples that correspond to the Listings sample solution application. Update: October updates to Listing attribute usage and enumeration values

Effective October 27, 2024, Amazon will update the attribute usage and enumeration values of numerous product types across marketplaces. These adjustments eliminate redundant attributes and improve the curation of attributes and enumeration values that apply to the corresponding product types.

Sellers Can Prove their GPSR Compliance on their Account Health Page

Sellers who sell non-food products in EU-based stores can prove their General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) compliance on the Account Health page. Sellers can refer to their Account Health page for a list of brands and offers that must be compliant with Amazon's GPSR policy.

Update: Notification for new transactions

The TRANSACTION_UPDATE notification is sent whenever there is a new transaction posted to the seller's account.

ListPrice Attribute Required in Select Marketplaces Starting January 31

Effective January 31, 2025, Amazon will require the ListPrice attribute across a subset of product types in select marketplaces. By including the ListPrice attribute, you can provide your customers with accurate and complete product information. The ListPrice is the suggested retail price of a product as provided by a manufacturer, supplier, or seller. You must enter the list price for product types that have list prices. If list prices are unavailable, you must enter a value of 0 to signal that no list price is available.
