Step 3: Verify Your Identity
Complete identity verification for yourself and your company in Solution Provider Portal.
In this step, you complete the identity verification process for both yourself and your company in Solution Provider Portal . Only perform this step if you are the service provider administrator. Later, if you invite employees to join the company account, the employees do their identity verification at that time.
Before you begin
Gather the required information:
- Have your business information such as your company registration number and your registered business address.
- Scan your identity proof (government-issued ID or passport and recent bank or credit card statement) so that you can upload it to the form, and have it on hand to show to the Amazon associate during the identity-verification call.
Steps to verify your identity
To perform identity verification for yourself and your company, take the following steps. For additional details, refer to Verify Your Identity in Solution Provider Portal.

Navigate to Solution Provider Portal.

Under Verify your identity, choose Get Started.

Gather your government-issued ID or passport, recent bank or credit card statement, and business license (if applicable), and then choose Next.

On the Business Information page:
- Select your business location.
- Select your business type.
- Enter your business name.
- Review and accept the confirmation message by selecting the checkbox.
- Choose Next.

On the second Business Information page:
- Enter your company registration number.
- Enter your registered business address.
- Select a method to receive a PIN (SMS or a call) and type the characters that you see in the security box.
- Enter your phone number.
- Select your call verification language.
- Choose Send SMS or Call now.
- After you receive the PIN using your chosen method, enter the PIN, and then choose Next.

On the Primary Contact Person Information page:
- Enter your name.
- Select your country of citizenship.
- Select your country of birth.
- Select your proof of identity choice.
- Enter your address.
- Choose Next.

On the second Primary Contact Person Information page:
- Upload your proof of identity.
- Upload your proof of address.
- Choose Next.
The Solution Provider Portal returns to the Select Account page.

On the Select Account page:
- Select the account that you just created.
- Choose Select Account.

In the Identity verification box, choose Continue.

On the Identity Verification page:
- Select your language.
- Get your photo ID.
- Acknowledge the checkboxes.
- Choose Join video call.

Complete the video call with the Amazon employee.
After Amazon verifies your identity, the Solution Provider Portal displays Verification successful at the top of the page.
