Step 4: Complete the Service Profile for Your Company

After you verify your identity and your company's identity in the previous step , you can complete the service provider profile in Solution Provider Portal. As with the previous onboarding steps, only the service provider administrator performs this step because each company should have only one Solution Provider Portal account.

Before you begin

For business verification, have the following information available:

• Business details: Legal business name, address, phone number, and website.
• Contact information: Primary business email address and phone number.
• Business description: Clear explanation of the services you provide to Amazon sellers.
• Administrator details: Name and contact information for the person who will manage the account.

Steps to complete your service provider profile

After Amazon verifies your identity, take the following steps:

1. In Solution Provider Portal, choose Get started after your identity is verified.

2. Enter your company's name, address, and contact information for the primary point of contact.

3. Return to the Solution Provider Portal home page, and then select a Service Category. (This option isn't available until your identity is verified.)

   Initially, you can only select one service category, so choose your main service offering. To add other services later, go to the Solution Provider Portal home page and choose Add a service.

4. Enter your use cases. When you describe your use cases, you must:

   • Explain specific functions within your chosen category. For more information, refer to Amazon SPN service categories.

   • Provide additional information for restricted roles that require access to personally identifiable information (PII), such as details about:

     • Why you need access to sensitive customer data.
     • How this data will be used in your business processes.
     • Your data protection measures and any security protocols that you have in place.

     Note

     Requests for restricted roles undergo additional review for security purposes. Access to PII is granted on a need-to-know basis and requires thorough documentation.

5. Answer the security questions about how your organization handles, shares, and protects Amazon data access.

6. Choose Save and Continue.
