Step 7: Connect With Sellers
Guide sellers through the process to authorize your company to access the seller's Seller Central account.
This step covers the collaborative process between you and the seller to grant you access to the seller's Seller Central account. You might need to guide a seller through this process, which includes the following actions:
- The seller sends you an invitation link.
- You accept the invitation and send a confirmation request.
- The seller accepts the confirmation and grants you specific permissions.
Important
Before you begin this process with the seller, you must have applied and been approved for Seller Central roles in Step 5: Apply for Seller Central Roles. If you don't complete the Seller Central role approval process, sellers can't grant you permissions in Seller Central (the permissions appear greyed out).
Phase 1: Seller initiates the invitation
To authorize you to access the seller's Seller Central account, the seller must:

Sign in to Seller Central.

Choose Settings, and then choose User Permissions.

Under User Management, choose the Authorized Partners tab.

Choose Add Authorized Partner.

In the pop-up window, choose Copy link to copy the one-time invitation link.

Send the copied link to you through email or through another messaging platform.
Tip
The invitation link works regardless of your marketplace location and expires after seven days.
Phase 2: Service provider responds
As the service provider administrator, you must complete the access request using the seller's invitation link:

Receive the invitation link from the seller.

As the service provider administrator, sign in to your Solution Provider Portal account. You must sign in as the administrator (primary contact for the account).

Open the invitation link that the seller provided.

Review the details in the invitation.

Choose Send Invitation to confirm all details and send your access request.
When you accept the invitation, the seller receives an email confirmation and must log in to Seller Central to complete the next steps.
Phase 3: Seller completes authorization
After the seller receives confirmation that you accepted the invitation, the seller must:
- Sign in to Seller Central.
- Choose Settings, and then choose User Permissions.
- Choose Open Invitations.
- Next to your name, choose Accept Invitation.
- Select the Seller Central role permissions to grant to the service provider.
- Choose Save Changes.
The seller can change your access at any time by returning to the Authorized Partners tab.
