January 2025 API and documentation updates
We are excited to share the latest updates to our APIs and documentation for January 2025:
Product Search API
We updated our Product Search API documentation for the following new features:
- Prime badge: Product Search API now returns a
PRIMEbadge for applicable products, indicating when an offer is eligible for Amazon Business Prime free shipping. For more information, see Prime badge release notes. - Customer Reviews Summary: Product Search API now returns information on a product’s customer ratings for display in eProcurement systems. For more information, see Customer Reviews Summary release notes.
- Shipping options: Product Search API now provides comprehensive information about an offer’s available shipping options, including shipping cost, delivery time range, and requirements for free shipping. For more information, see Shipping Options release notes.
API onboarding
We updated our API onboarding guides with new instructions for adding a developer email to your Amazon Business account, creating app clients, and generating refresh and access tokens. For more information, see the following guides:

Authorization workflow
We rewrote the authorization workflow guide to clearly describe the steps to follow for each authorization method.
Reporting API
We updated our Reporting API documentation to indicate that the shippingAddress and sellerPrimaryAddress fields are optional in the API response. For more information, see the following documentation:
Amazon Business API roles
We revised the Amazon Business API roles document to specify that the Business Purchase Reconciliation role provides access to the Document API as well as Reconciliation API.
