March 2025 API and documentation updates

We are excited to share the latest updates to our APIs and documentation for March 2025:

Developer Documentation website

We have renamed the Developer Hub website to “Amazon Business Developer Documentation,” and updated the visual design to align with the Amazon Business brand. No technical content has changed as part of this update.

Document API

The retention period for documents generated using Document API has changed to 30 days. This means that you can access a report for up to 30 days after creating it. For more information, visit these documents:

API onboarding

The Amazon Business API onboarding process has updated with a new step for selecting your “solution type” when creating a Solution Provider Portal (SPP) account. For more information, visit Onboarding step 1.

Ordering API

We updated our Ordering API documentation with explanations and example scenarios that describe how the Seller Substitutions safeguard determines how orders are fulfilled. For more information, visit What is Ordering API?

Amazon Business App Center

We updated our Amazon Business App Center guides to state that OAuth Login and Redirect URIs must be defined before proceeding with the App Center listing and authorization processes. For more information, visit these documents:
