Update to workflow for retrieving inventory summaries with FBA Inventory API v1
When retrieving inventory summaries with the Selling Partner API for FBA Inventory v1, use both the startDateTime
and nextToken
to get next page of inventory summaries that have changes after the date and time specified. If you use only nextToken
, the results will be incorrect.

Announcing Vendor Central Self-Authorization
As of October 18, 2022, Vendor Central has replaced the current developer console authorization page with a self-authorization page. This self-authorization page enables users to create authorization grants and generate refresh tokens for multiple vendor groups to a single application. This reduces the need to create identical applications for each individual vendor group for authorization.

Legacy Book Product Types Deprecation

On July 21st, 2022, Amazon published the Selling Partner Reports API on the AWS Cloud Quick Start Deployment Guide for the Selling Partner API (SP-API). This QuickStart helps developers create an event-driven architecture in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud that automates the SP-API report creation and retrieval and implements a notifications mechanism for an optimized solution. The deployed architecture includes all the infrastructure required by the Notifications API in order to receive and process report processing finished notifications, as well as ten other notification types. The functionality is exposed via Amazon API Gateway endpoints that can be easily connected to the developers’ application, and includes security best practices for credential management that can be reused outside of the scope of the Quick Start too.
CarrierCode value required in shipment confirmations for BR, MX, CA, SG, AU, IN, JP marketplaces
Amazon will only accept shipment confirmation that includes a CarrierCode
value for all seller-fulfilled orders using Bulk feeds, APIs, or integrations. This change goes into effect for the following marketplaces on these dates:
