Update to the requirement for List Prices starts on May 27
On September 15, 2023, we announced that the ListPrice
attribute would be required for certain product types (PTs) in certain EU marketplaces.
On May 27, 2024, Amazon will update this list of PTs for which we require the ListPrice
attribute, totaling 1,566 PTs.
The ListPrice
is the suggested retail price of a product as provided by a manufacturer, supplier, or seller. Selling Partners must enter the List Price for product types that involve List Prices.
Which marketplaces are affected?
This change applies to the following marketplaces:
- Spain (ES)
- United Kingdom (UK)
- France (FR)
- Belgium (BE)
- Netherlands (NL)
- Germany (DE)
- Italy (IT)
- Sweden (SE)
- Poland (PL)
Who is affected?
Developers using the Listings APIs and JSON_LISTINGS_FEED
feed type to create and edit products with offers are affected by this change. XSD/XML feed uploads are also affected. Product-only listings are not affected by this change.
What action is required?
When creating or editing listings for products with offers, a value for ListPrice
will be required. You can provide a value of 0
to indicate that you do not have a List Price.
