Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS) Credential Deletion

Starting April 22, 2024, Marketplace Web Service (MWS) credentials will be deleted in accordance with the MWS removal plan. Any MWS credentials that are still used in an app integration will no longer connect to MWS. Any apps that are still subscribed to MWS Push Notifications will no longer receive this information.

Which marketplaces are affected?

This change applies to all marketplaces.

Who is affected?

All private developers using any MWS API sections for selling on Amazon are affected by this change.

What action is required?

If you migrated from MWS to Selling Partner API (SP-API), ensure you have deleted old MWS subscriptions and subscribed to relevant notifications by using the Selling Partner API for notifications. You can use the Notifications API to create a destination to subscribe and manage notifications.

No action is required if:

• Your app is currently receiving notifications through the Selling Partner API for notifications
• Your app does not require data from the Notifications API
• Your app is not using MWS
