CA Fulfillment by Amazon prep and labeling services will end July 1, 2026
Starting July 1, 2026, Amazon will no longer offer prep and item labeling services for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipments in the CA marketplace. AMAZON will no longer be an accepted value for prepOwner and labelOwner parameters (and responses) across all Fulfillment Inbound API operations in the CA marketplace.
This change applies to all inventory sent to CA FBA fulfillment centers, including inventory sent directly into FBA as well as inventory from Amazon SEND and Supply Chain Portal when that inventory goes through FBA.

This change applies to the CA marketplace only.
Who is affected?
Developers with applications that use the Fulfillment Inbound API v2024-03-20 for the CA marketplace are affected by this change. Applications that interact with prep and labeling functionality through operations including createInboundPlan, listInboundPlanBoxes, listPrepDetails, and setPrepDetails will be impacted by the removal of AMAZON as a valid enum value.
What action is required?
Developers with applications that use the Fulfillment Inbound API v2024-03-20 for the CA marketplace should update their code to handle cases where AMAZON is no longer a valid option for prepOwner or labelOwner .
