May 2025 API and documentation updates
We are excited to share the latest updates to our APIs and documentation for May 2025:
Reporting API
We have published a new set of documentation for Reporting API, including an overview of the API’s use case, instructions for integrating with the API, and sample code for each API operation. For more information, visit these documents:
Product Search API
The Product Search API response has been updated to return an isBundledAsin
field at the product level. This field identifies whether a product is a bundled ASIN. A bundled ASIN is a single ASIN that represents multiple products or services that are bundled together and sold as a single unit. Note that bundled ASINs cannot be purchased via direct ordering. For more information, visit these documents:
Reconciliation API
In NA and EU regions, the Reconciliation API has been updated to return a chargeIdentifier
field in the transactions
object. The charge identifier is a unique number that is generated for credit card payments. Customers can use this number to map Amazon Business purchases to purchases on their credit card statements. For more information, visit these documents:
Additionally, we updated the Reconciliation API static sandbox behaviors for the getTransactions
operation to better align with the API’s production behavior. For more information, see Reconciliation API static sandbox guide.
Amazon Business API rate limits
We published a new overview topic describing how rate limits work in the Amazon Business APIs, including the rate limiting algorithm, key terminology, and best practices. For more information, see Rate limits in Amazon Business APIs.
