Important update regarding UPS shipping labels purchased via Amazon
Developers with applications that use the Merchant Fulfillment API should be aware that selling partners may contact them with questions regarding UPS shipping labels purchased via Amazon.
When sellers purchase UPS labels through Amazon tools, those labels appear to be from Amazon itself, which complicates the resolution of seller claims and questions related to UPS services. To address this issue, Amazon will begin providing UPS with the seller name, contact information, and warehouse location (the same information the seller provides when purchasing services directly from UPS). To receive the benefit of this change, sellers must authorize Amazon to provide this information to UPS to continue purchasing UPS shipping labels through the Buy Shipping service or Merchant Fulfillment API. To provide this authorization, sellers must re-accept the UPS terms and Conditions. Sellers who have not re-accepted by March 22 will no longer be able to purchase UPS labels through Buy Shipping until they re-accept the UPS Terms and Conditions.
