Update to the FBA Quantity report for EU
Effective today, May 2, 2022, we are changing the _GET_FBA_MYI_ALL_INVENTORY_DATA_
and _GET_FBA_MYI_UNSUPPRESSED_INVENTORY_DATA_
report types for the Spain, UK, France, Germany, and Italy marketplaces.
software_update_supported_to_date Attribute Added to XSDs for EU Marketplaces
As of April 26, 2022, Amazon will introduce a new attribute called software_update_supported_to_date
across 49 Product Types and related XSDs in 8 European marketplaces. This is a new, optional attribute, representing the last date until which software updates will be supported by manufacturers for smart devices. The goal is to comply with the upcoming Omnibus Directive, under which product detail pages for Digital Goods must include details of the product’s functionality including applicable technical protection measures, its compatibility and its interoperability (“Functionality Information”).
Application Authorization Limits and Listing Restrictions
Beginning April 25, 2022, we will introduce application authorization limits and restrict application listing on the Amazon Selling Partner Appstore to public applications. These limits are dependent on the Developer’s data access type (public or private developer) which was selected in your Developer Profile.

Developers with applications that use the Merchant Fulfillment API should be aware that selling partners may contact them with questions regarding UPS shipping labels purchased via Amazon.
Deprecation of _GET_MERCHANT_LISTINGS_DEFECT_DATA_ and _LISTINGS_DEFECT_REPORT_XL_
Effective June 15, 2022, the _GET_MERCHANT_LISTINGS_DEFECT_DATA_
and _LISTINGS_DEFECT_REPORT_XL_
reports will no longer be available in MWS or Selling Partner API. The replacement report _GET_MERCHANTS_LISTINGS_FYP_REPORT_
is currently available in MWS and SP-API. Please plan to move to this new report prior to June 15, 2022 if you wish to continue to access data about your suppressed listings.
Reminder: Apache Log4j vulnerabilities
As Developers, you are aware of the Apache Log4j vulnerabilities published in December 2021, including but not limited to (CVE-2021-4104, CVE-2021-45046, CVE-2021-44228). This notice is to remind all Selling Partner API developers to ensure that all systems containing Amazon data are protected from the recently disclosed Log4j vulnerabilities.
