We are excited to announce the release of prebuilt JavaScript and Python SDKs for SP-API. These SDKs provide a ready-to-use solution, reduce the need for manual setup, and keep your applications aligned with the latest SP-API updates.

Amazon-recommended packing options are now available in the Fulfillment Inbound API v2024-03-20. This program provides suggested pack groups in the listPackingOptions response, which represent optimized SKU groupings that help distribute a seller’s products across Amazon's fulfillment network. These recommendations help sellers access an incentive that will be applied as a discount on future Amazon fulfillment fees, and enables faster delivery times.

Starting May 28, 2025, the getCompetitiveSummary operation will have a new enum value.

The JSON_LISTINGS_FEED submitted through the Feeds API has the following changes:

Deprecated SP-API resources are no longer in active development. Calls to deprecated SP-API resources will continue to be successful until their removal date. After the removal date, calls will fail. For more detailed information about SP-API deprecation dates, refer to the Deprecations table.

Announcing the automated pricing rules guide, which you can use to manage the Amazon Automate Pricing tool for the SP-API programmatically. You can use the automated pricing rules to dynamically adjust the product prices based on various market conditions and strategies.

New references, featuring full response examples and dynamic request examples in twenty languages, are now available in the API Reference section.

The Finances API v2024-06-19 now identifies transactions that are released after being deferred. Transactions that were deferred, but are currently released now have a transactionStatus of DEFERRED_RELEASED. The status of deferred transactions is updated to DEFERRED_RELEASED when released.

As of March 24, 2025, sellers in the US can link more than one account for each shipping carrier with Amazon Buy Shipping services.
