Clarification to issued LWA credentials awareness announcement
On July 10, we issued an awareness announcement to remind developers that public exposure of Amazon LWA client credentials can lead to developer’s loss of access to the Selling Partner API. We understand that the title of this announcement may not have been as clear as we had intended, and we apologize for any misunderstanding.
Reminder and best practices to keep Amazon LWA client credentials secure

June 2023 SP-API Release Announcement
Introducing the new Replenishment API
Changes to the Acceptable Use Policy
Starting June 21, 2023, the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) will be updated for all marketplaces. We are updating the AUP to add instructions for the Page View Report terms and conditions. The added references are applicable for users of Amazon API services in Section 5.6 of the AUP.
API request validation for 400 errors with HTML response
Effective June 5, 2023, Amazon will reject requests that are not consistent with HTTP RFC 7230. We have enforced this restriction to a portion of requests since April 25, 2023.
ListPrice attribute required for select product types
Starting June 30, 2023, Amazon will require the ListPrice
attribute across 1000 product types (PTs). This change will improve customer experience by providing accurate and complete product attribute information. Selling Partners must enter the List Price or the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price for product types that involve List Prices.
Urgent: Login with Amazon rotation deadline is May 22, 2023
On February 6, 2023, we announced that you must rotate your Login with Amazon (LWA) credentials (client secrets) for all applications every 180 days. Regular and timely rotation of LWA credentials limits the duration of your application’s credentials in the event that credentials are exposed or compromised. LWA credentials older than 180 days must be rotated by May 22, 2023.
Notification of mandatory attributes for select product types
Starting July 05, 2023 August 6, 2023 August 16, 2023, Amazon will require 25 attributes across 52 product types (PTs) in listings templates. This change will improve the customer buying experience by making the product attribute information available within Amazon's catalog. Selling Partners must enter attribute information for the identified product types when creating ASINs through the product upload page.
UPDATE: Starting July 10th, 2023, the rate for the getItemOffersBatch operation within the Product Pricing API will be lowered
UPDATE: We’ve changed the date when the rate will be lowered from May 1st to July 10th to provide more time for necessary updates to apps to accommodate the new rate limit.
