Update: Enum value changes for the getCompetitiveSummary operation

Effective May 28, 2025, the model of the getCompetitiveSummary operation has the following changes to enum values:
- The
customerMembershipoperation used in theFeaturedOfferSegmentoutput has a new enum value,DEFAULT. ThecustomerMembershipoperation now supports the following values:PRIMENON-PRIMEDEFAULT
- The enum value for the
OfferTypeinput in thelowestPricedOffersInputsarray changes fromCONSUMERtoConsumer.
Which marketplaces are affected?
This change applies to all marketplaces.
Who is affected?
Developers with applications that use getCompetitiveSummary are affected by this change.
What action is required?
If you have an application that uses the getCompetitiveSummary operation, you must complete the following actions:
- By May 28, 2025, update your application models to accommodate the new
customerMembershipenum valueDEFAULTin theFeaturedOfferSegmentoutput. - By August 6, 2025, ensure that your systems are prepared to handle the
DEFAULTcustomerMembershipvalue, because this date is when the SP-API will begin sending this enum value in responses.
